Time to go Wild this Sunday!

Submitted by Dick Gillingham on November 29, 2013 – 10:30 amNo Comment

Wild return home to Widnes on Sunday for a return fixture against Kingston Jets from Hull.

When the teams met in October at the Hull Arena,Widnes Wild won convincingly. Like Widnes, Hull have proved to be a match for the best, when icing a strong squad. Widnes are expecting to see the return of a few key members of the squad but will be keen to supress the attacking threat of the outstanding England junior, Lee Bonner.

Wild manager, Mick Caunce was keen to encourage local support on Sunday;
‘We’ve just come off the back of a double fixture against the league’s form team but Sunday should see two well matched teams keen to return to winning ways. We have been encouraged by the enthusiasm of the home crowd and would love to see the rink full for what should be a great game on Sunday’

The seating at the Widnes rink has now been installed and early arrival is advisable. The game faces off at 18.15 with the doors open from 17.30
